About the Kincardine Art Crawl

Intro

The Kincardine Art Crawl is a celebration of creativity, community, and connection. Born from a simple idea, it has grown into an annual event that brings together artists, makers, and the people who love their work.

The Art Crawl

The Kincardine Art Crawl began with a dream, quite literally. One night, Kirk imagined artists spread throughout town, from an art exhibition at Grey Matter Beer Company to sidewalks to unexpected corners and gathering places. When he shared that vision, Andreah saw the potential for something even bigger.

She had been hoping to create events that brought people together through the arts, and the idea felt like the perfect place to start. With that shared vision, she began connecting artists, venues, and local businesses, and together they built the first Art Crawl.

What started as one dream has grown into a vibrant annual tradition, a celebration of art, music, and community spirit that reminds everyone how creativity can transform a town.

Art Battle

The same spirit of creativity and community also led to the introduction of Art Battle Kincardine. We wanted to bring more interactive and engaging art experiences to the town, and Art Battle was the perfect fit. Once again, the idea was fueled by imagination, but it was Andreah’s determination and effort that made it a reality. Together, we brought live painting competitions and high-energy art to the community, and Kincardine welcomed it with open arms.

Our Vision

Both the Art Crawl and Art Battle were born from the same belief: that art should be shared, celebrated, and made accessible to everyone. We want to create spaces where artists can thrive and where the community can connect through creativity. Whether it’s wandering the streets during the Crawl or cheering on painters at an Art Battle, our vision is to make Kincardine a place where art lives at the heart of the community.
